Closing the Water Loop Sustainability is at the core of KGX1’s operations. The building features an advanced water conservation network comprising three separate greywater recycling systems. By capturing water from daily activities—such as washing hands and showering—we are able to divert significant amounts of water from the waste stream.

Instead of being discarded, this water is treated and given a second life. It is pumped back into the building to flush toilets and irrigate the extensive roof garden. This “closed-loop” approach significantly reduces the building’s demand for mains water, ensuring that KGX1 operates in harmony with its environment.
